Sea and Land Shipping Services, LLC Tampa Bay’s premier boutique agency. With Marc and Tim’s combined 64 years experience and Jane’s 45 years, Sea and Land has more than 100 total years of comprehensive experience.

Marc Parker

Marc started his career in steamship agency work in 1981 in the Panama Canal with C. Fernie & Co, SA and after working as Operations Manager for North Star Maritime in Anchorage, AK, Marc relocated to Tampa in 1991.

After serving and managing different agencies, he purchased Sea and Land Shipping, Inc. in 2018 and has added his domestic and international knowledge to the company’s already considerable experience in steamship agency work. Thanks to his time in Panama, Marc is fluent in Spanish, which is a big asset, as we enjoy the majority of the Latin American fertilizer business exported from Tampa. His skills in bulk discharge accounts, combined with Tim Thatcher’s fertilizer ship prowess, make for a reliable team for all types of arriving vessels.

Timothy S. Thatcher

Operations Manager

Tim arrived at Sea and Land Shipping in 1993 after serving his country in Desert Storm with the United States Marine Corps. After 26 years in this business he is well versed in all aspects of agency experience and is second to none in the port of Tampa when it comes to loading fertilizer for export. In addition to Tim’s fertilizer background, his knowledge of a variety of other vessel loading and discharging operations in the Tampa Bay area make him a valuable asset.
